# Blocklist

You have two options for blocking others:

- to block a group, and
- to block a user.

## **Blocking a group**

To block a group to which you were added, follow these steps:

1. Click on the “**Group icon** in top left corner”.
2. Tap on the “**settings icon**”.
3. Open group “**Settings**”.
3. Tap on “**Block group**”.

You can also **leave a group**, but other members could re-add you.

If you block a group, you won't be able to rejoin it. Other members won't know that you blocked the group, but they will see that you are no longer a member.

## **Blocking a user**

To block a user in a group, follow these steps:

1. Click on the “**Group icon**”.
2. Tap on the **user** you want to block.
3. Tap on “**Block**”.

The blocked user won't be able to add you to any groups and your will not be notified of user whereabout and events.

To unblock groups or users, follow these steps:

## **Unblock a group**

1. Click on your "**settings icon**" in the top right corner.
2. Click on "**Account**".
2. Tap on “**Blocklist**”.
3. Tap on “**Delete**” icon next to a group you want to unblock.
4. **Confirm it**.

Now you can join the group again by sharing your [Paralino.ID](../paralino-id).

## **Unblock a user**

You have two ways to unblock a user:

1. Click on your “**Profile icon**”.
2. Click on the “**Blocklist**”.
3. Tap on “**Delete**” icon next to a user you want to unblock.
4. **Confirm it**.

OR

1. Click on the “**Group icon**”.
2. Tap on the **group member** you want to unblock.
3. Tap on ”**Unblock**” button.
4. **Confirm it**.

Unblocking a user will allow them to add you to new groups and you will be notified about their events.
