# How to reset your password

At Paralino, we take data security seriously. Your data is **encrypted end-to-end** on your device before it's even sent to our server. This means that no one, including us, can access your data or your encryption keys.

### What to do if you forgot your password

If you **have forgotten your password** and need to reset it to regain access to your account, just follow these simple steps:

1. Click on "**Forgot Password**" on login screen.
2. Enter the **email address** associated with your Paralino account.
3. Click on "**Reset password**".
4. **Check your email** for password reset instructions

After you get the email, follow these steps:
1. Click on the **link** provided in the email to reset your Paralino password.
2. Follow the **steps** in the app to recover your password.
3. Enter your **new password** and **confirm it**.
4. Click on "**Change Password**".

That's it! You have reset your password and can regain access to your account. However, please note that **your data will be lost** as no one, including us, has access to it due to end-to-end encryption.
