# How to setup a profile

Once your account is created, you'll need to **complete your profile** by choosing an profile icon and your name. Be sure to click "**Save**" when you're done.

To **connect** with your family, you have two options:

1. [Create a new group](../../groups/create-join-group/#how-to-create-a-new-group), or
2. [Join a group](../../groups/create-join-group/#how-to-join-to-a-group).
