# How to add a new member to a group

Only group owner can add new members.

If you want to add someone to your group, you need to have their personal code. Follow these steps to add a new member to your group:

1. Open group details.
2. Click on the "**Add**" button.
3. Enter the **Paralino.ID** of the person you want to add.
4. Click on "**Next**".
5. If the Paralino.ID is correct and verified, you will be able to add the person to your group.

Once you have added the new member, they will receive a notification that they have joined and will be able to start sharing their location with the group.
