# How to delete a group

Only group owner can delete a group. If you no longer want to part of a group, you can [leave it](../leave-group).

If you want to delete a that you created, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the group details by clicking on the group icon.
2. Click on the "**Settings**" to open group settings screen.
3. Select the "**Delete Group**" option from the menu.
4. **Confirm it** with long press on the "**Delete**" button.

Please note that this will remove all group data, including all locations, places and location history.
