# How to leave a group

If you want to leave a group that you joined, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the group details by clicking on the group icon.
2. Click on the "**Settings**" to open group settings screen.
3. Select the "**Leave Group**" option from the menu.
4. **Confirm it** with long press on the "**Leave**" button.

Please note that you cannot leave a group that you created.

If you no longer want to be a part of a group that you created, you can only delete it.
