# How to adjust duration of location sharing

To adjust the duration of your location sharing, follow these steps:

1. Open the **group** you want to share your location with.
2. Click on "**Start sharing**".
3. Swipe left or right on duration slider to **select the duration** for your location sharing.

You can choose to share your location for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, 1 month, or 1 year. Once the selected duration is over, your location sharing for that group will automatically stop.

If you wish to share your location all the time, proceed to next step.
