Feature Recap: What We've Been Working On
As we step into the new year, it’s a great time to reflect on some of the exciting updates and features we’ve …
With Paralino, you already could monitor your loved ones’ location and battery levels. When sharing your location, you could decide to share your battery level as well.
With our latest updates, you can now receive push notifications when someone from your group is running low on battery.
We’ve designed battery monitoring with both privacy and efficiency in mind:
When enabled, you’ll receive notifications when a group member’s device battery level is below 15%.
Low battery notifications are turned on by default for all group members. You can turn them off in the Group Settings screen. To do so, open any group and tap on the Settings button. Open the Battery Notifications section and toggle the feature off.
You can also customize settings for individual members.
Battery monitoring adds an extra layer of safety and convenience to your location sharing experience.
Battery monitoring gives you peace of mind by letting you know when a family member’s device might go offline. In emergency situations, you can stay informed about device status to be better prepared.
You can also be proactive by reaching out to group members before losing contact due to empty batteries. And there is also a fun factor - use it as an excuse to meet up and share a charger.
If you find low battery notifications annoying, you can always turn them off and never be bothered again.
If you haven’t explored these features yet, now’s the perfect time to dive in:
