Smart Battery Level Notifications

We’ve designed battery monitoring with both privacy and efficiency in mind:

• Battery level information is always end-to-end encrypted
• Updates are sent only when significant changes occur, and only if you choose to share your battery level
• All processing happens locally on your device

When enabled, you’ll receive notifications when a group member’s device battery level is below 15%.

How to enable battery monitoring

Low battery notifications are turned on by default for all group members. You can turn them off in the Group Settings screen. To do so, open any group and tap on the Settings button. Open the Battery Notifications section and toggle the feature off.

You can also customize settings for individual members.
