Low battery notifications
Paralino allows you to monitor your loved ones’ location and battery levels. When sharing your location, you can also choose to share your battery level with group members.
With low battery notifications, you can receive push notifications when someone from your group is running low on battery, helping you stay connected and informed.
How battery monitoring works
When enabled, you’ll receive notifications when a group member’s device battery level is below 15%.
- Battery level information is always end-to-end encrypted
- Updates are sent only when significant changes occur, and only if you choose to share your battery level
- All processing happens locally on your device
How to enable or disable battery monitoring
Low battery notifications are turned on by default for all group members. You can customize these settings at any time:
- Open any group in Paralino
- Tap on the “Settings” button in the top-right corner
- Open the “Battery Notifications” section
- Toggle the feature on or off
Customizing settings for individual members
You can also customize battery notification settings for individual group members:
- Open the group containing the member
- Tap on the “Settings” button
- Open the “Battery Notifications” section
- Find the member’s name in the list
- Toggle the notification setting for that specific member
Troubleshooting
If you’re not receiving battery notifications:
- Check that battery notifications are enabled in your group settings
- Verify that the group member has chosen to share their battery level
- Ensure that notifications are enabled for Paralino in your device settings
- Make sure your device has an active internet connection
