Low battery notifications

Paralino allows you to monitor the battery levels of both your group members and your own personal devices. With low battery notifications, you can stay informed and ensure that no device runs out of power unexpectedly.

How battery monitoring works#

When enabled, you’ll receive notifications when a device’s battery level falls below 15%.

Notifications in a Group#

In a Group, you can monitor the battery levels of your loved ones to stay connected and informed. By default, battery notifications are enabled for all members besides you so you are not notified about your own battery level.

You can turn the feature on or off for all group members or you can customize battery notification settings for individual member.

1. Open details of any group in Paralino.
2. Tap on the “Settings” button.
3. Open the “Battery Notifications” section.
4. Toggle the feature on or off for all members at once or for a specific member.

Notifications in Personal Space#

Personal Space includes low battery alerts to help you keep track of your own devices’ power levels. This is especially useful if you track multiple devices (like a tablet or a secondary phone) that you might not check frequently.

By default, battery notifications are enabled for other devices, so your current device won’t be notified about its own battery level.
To manage these settings:

1. Open your Personal Space.
2. Tap on the “Settings” button.
3. Look for Battery Notifications.
4. Toggle the notifications on or off for all devices or for a specific device.

Troubleshooting#

If you’re not receiving battery notifications:

1. Check that battery notifications are enabled in your group or personal space settings.
2. Ensure that other member or device has enabled sharing of battery level.
3. Ensure that notifications are enabled for Paralino in your device settings.
4. Make sure your device has an active internet connection.
