What is Personal Space

Personal Space is a private area in Paralino designed exclusively for your own devices. Unlike Groups, where location data is shared with other members, Personal Space is just for you. It allows you to manage and track your own devices without sharing their location with anyone else.

You can quickly switch the main map view to show either your personal devices or your groups using the Map Toggle at the top of the main map screen.

• Location History: See where you’ve been and track your travels.
• Personal Places: Set up places like “Home” or “Work” for your personal devices.
• Battery Alerts: Receive notifications when your personal devices are low on battery.

Private Google Timeline alternative#

Personal Space allows you to track your own location history securely and upgrading to a Max plan gives you unlimited location history storage.

This makes Paralino an excellent alternative to Google Timeline. It supports multiple devices, it is available on both iOS and Android, and is far more private and respectful of your data than Google is.

Security and Privacy#

All location-related data in your Personal Space is end-to-end encrypted. This means that only you can access your data. Paralino cannot see where you or your devices are. Everything in your Personal Space is end-to-end encrypted with automatically rotating keys derived from your master key. This master key is further protected by your account password.
