Paralino offers a free plan and three premium subscription options to meet different needs. Each plan provides varying levels of features and usage, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your requirements for private location sharing.

End-to-End Encryption
All location data in Paralino is end-to-end encrypted across every plan. This means that only the people you explicitly share your location with can see it - not even Paralino can access your location data.

All subscriptions are available as monthly or annual plans, with annual subscriptions offering significant savings compared to monthly billing.
Purchasing from the directly downloaded Android version
To purchase a subscription plan from the directly downloaded Android version, follow these steps:
- open the Paralino Android app
- tap on “Settings” (gear icon in the top right corner)
- go to “Membership” screen
- tap on “Upgrade”
- select the plan you want to purchase and tap “Continue”
You will be redirected to the payment page in your browser.
Select your preferred billing cycle and payment method along with the email address you can use to manage your subscription.
After successfully purchasing the subscription, you will be redirected to the app and your Paralino account will be upgraded.
Purchasing on the web
You can purchase a subscription plan directly on the web:
After purchasing a subscription plan, you will receive a Licence key which you can use to activate the subscription in the Paralino app. To activate the subscription, follow these steps:
- open the Paralino app
- tap on “Settings” (gear icon in the top right corner)
- tap on “Membership”
- tap on “License key”
- enter the Licence key you received after purchasing the subscription plan
- tap on “Activate”
After successfully activating the subscription, your Paralino account will be upgraded and connected to the subscription from the entered Licence key.
To offer web payments and payment for directly downloaded Android version we use Polar which is a payment processor and our Merchant of Record.
Restoring web purchased subscriptions
Apple App Store and Google Play Store provide a native way to restore your purchases and transfer your subscription to a new account with a single click.
To restore your premium plan purchased on the web, you will need to manually activate the Licence key you received after purchasing. You will receive the Licence key regardless if you purchased the subscription on the web or via directly downloaded Android app.
To access your Licence key, please login to Polar customer portal with the same email address you used to purchase the subscription.
How to Upgrade
Make sure you are using the same platform for upgrading your subscription as the one you used to purchase it. In case you want to upgrade your plan on a different platform, please cancel your current subscription first and then purchase the new plan on the new platform.
To upgrade to a premium plan:
- Open the Paralino app
- Tap on your profile icon
- Select “Membership”
- Choose the plan that best fits your needs
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase
Subscriptions are managed through your device’s app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) or through Polar on the web and can be canceled at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do all members get group benefits?
Yes, all members in your group will have access to premium group features. Only one person pays for the premium plan but every group member can use additional benefits within your group.
That also includes access to all
location settings for every group member.
Premium features in Personal Spaces are not included since that’s a personal feature and not a group feature.
If someone in your group wants to use premium features (like extended history or more activated devices) in their personal space, they will need to get their own subscription.
Why do I have to pay for the subscription?
Paralino is not just a premium app but it is an ongoing service that provides a secure and private location sharing experience. There are no ads in the app and we do not sell your data so the subscription fee is the only way we can cover the costs of providing this service to you and to further improve it. Subscription you get will allow not just you but also your family and friends to use the app securely and privately.

What payment methods are available?
We currently offer payment via Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play Store on Android. For web payments and directly downloaded Android version we offer payments via Polar.sh.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time.
What happens if I downgrade?
If you downgrade to a plan with fewer features, you may need to adjust your groups, members, or places to fit within the limits of your new plan. Otherwise location sharing will be limited and place notification will be disabled.
Is there a family or group discount?
Paralino’s pricing is already optimized for families and groups - only one person pays. The Pro and Max plans offer the best value for multiple members and devices.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings under Membership and tap Cancel. You will be taken to the store settings where you can cancel your plan.
How can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
To change your plan, go to Membership in your account settings, then tap on Change and select the plan you like.
How can I request a refund?
- Apple Users: Since Apple is handling your payment, you will need to go to reportaproblem.apple.com and follow the steps there.
- Google and Polar.sh Users: You can contact our support team by emailing contact@paralino.com.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, your payment is processed directly by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Polar.sh. We do not process or store any payment information.
Is there a free trial available?
Yes, we offer a free trial period on certain billing cycles. Free trial is available for the first time you start your subscription. You can then enjoy all the premium features at no cost for the duration of the trial. After the trial ends, subscription will be automatically renewed at the selected plan price.
