How to rename a device in a group

To change your device’s name, follow these simple steps:

1. Open the group you want to share your location with.
2. Click on “Location sharing”.
3. Change your device name under Device or remove it completely.

Device name is optional and it helps you differentiate between multiple devices. Device name is also end-to-end encrypted and visible only to you and your group members.
